We had a blast jeeping today.  We all left about 8:30 am this morning and met at the Cleghorn Road exit.  There were a total of ten jeeps on this trip.  Here are a few pictures of day...

11 Days to Graduation...

Wow!  I cannot believe ALEXANDRIA'S graduation is eleven days away.  This is the busiest and most stressful time of year for me at LCA but this year is going to be even harder!  My very own baby, my firstborn, my ONLY daughter, MY KID graduates this year!  I think I am going to leave tomorrow and return on June 1st (that way I miss Family Day too :0) LOL)

WE ARE SO PROUD OF YOU ALEXANDRIA!!!

Oh, the Places You'll Go!

  • You have brains in your head.
You have feet in your shoes.
    You can steer yourself
    any direction you choose.

    You're on your own.
And you know what you know.
And YOU are the one who'll decide where to go.
  • You won’t lag behind, because you’ll have the speed.
You’ll pass the whole gang and you’ll soon take the lead.
Wherever you fly, you’ll be the best of the best.
Wherever you go, you will top all the rest.
  • I'm sorry to say so
    But, sadly it's true
    That bang-ups and hang-ups
    Can happen to you.
  • On and on you will hike, And I know you’ll hike far
and face up to your problems whatever they are. You’ll get mixed up of course, as you already know.
You’ll get mixed up with many strange birds as you go.
So be sure when you step.
Step with care and great tact
And remember that Life’s a great balancing act.
Just never forget to be dexterous and deft.
And never mix up your right foot with your left.
  • Will you succeed?
    Yes you will indeed!
    (98 and 3/4 percent guaranteed.)

He is finally here!

Our new little addition to our family is finally here!!!!  Little Thurman James Thomas (named after his grandpa, great grandpa and his daddy) arrived at 4:06 a.m. this morning.  Happy Mother's Day to my wonderful sis Leaya...her fourth and final baby :) born on Mother's Day.  He was 8lbs and 8oz and has a ton of hair.  This little guy is extra special since he will now carry on the Thomas name.  I can't wait to hold him and love him :0)   Big Thurman and Little Thurman...
